Setting up the website

This website uses a nginx webserver hosted on a VPS provided by vultr, with Hugo as a static site generator. Setting up small websites such as this is suprisingly cheap, the VPS cost $4 a month, and the domain is $10 a year using namecheap with a student discount. However, in total configuring this website has taken a very long time (specifically, setting up the nginx config), most likely because I have not set up a website before.
